A timeless addition to any modern gentleman’s writing collection, The METEORITE Pen has been designed to elegantly highlight the cosmic beauty of one of the most remarkable, oldest, and rarest objects found on earth.

You will enjoy it for a lifetime.

Each pen will be meticulously handcrafted-to-order with high quality black titanium plated brass hardware featuring body and cap barrels encrusted with fragments of Campo del Cielo meteorite that had traveled across the cosmos, in space, for billions of years.

Fountain pens will be carefully fitted with a #5 fine point two-tone stainless steel nib manufactured in Germany by JoWo, one of the world’s largest makers of fountain pen nibs, and will include two methods of filling the ink supply– a disposable cartridge and a piston converter. As with most fountain pens, the nib can be easily replaced when worn out and the converter can be refilled unlimited times with your preferred ink.

Rollerball pens are equally beautiful yet lend themselves added convenience for everyday use. The ink is easily and infinitely refillable using a rollerball refill, and our personal recommendation would be the Schmidt 5888 which provides for one of the smoothest writing experiences you’ll ever have. All of our rollerball orders will be shipped with a Schmidt 5888 fine point black ink refill.

Campo del Cielo

The Campo del Cielo meteorite was first discovered in 1576 in the Gran Chaco Gualamba region of Northern Argentina. It was found on an open, brush covered, waterless plain. The aboriginal inhabitants named the area Campo del Cielo, or Field of Heaven. They believed the rocks came from the sky, or heaven. Meteorites are traditionally named after the location where they are found, hence the name. Pieces of this meteorite were found scattered over a large area. Many fine examples of the Campo del Cielo now rest in museums and personal collections all over the world.

Scientifically, the Campo del Cielo is classified as a coarse octahedrite meteorite. It is made primarily of nickel-iron. Iron (Fe) is the predominate mineral. It contains about 6.68% Ni, 0.43% Co, 0.25% P and traces of other elements. It is estimated that less than 5% of the meteorites that land on earth are of the nickel-iron variety.

Conversion Parts

Can’t decide between a Fountain pen or Rollerball? With our additional conversion parts you’ll be able to easily switch between both styles.

Moon Dust

We will craft your pen with our proprietary blend of Lunar Meteorite NWA 5000 (Moon Dust!) and Campo del Cielo meteorite. The addition of this ultra rare lunar meteorite dust will ensure your pen is one of the most unique and special products you will ever own.

Lunar meteorite is considered to be one of the rarest materials in the entire world, far more rare than gold, platinum, or even diamond. Northwest Africa (NWA) 5000 was discovered in Southern Morocco in 2007 and is, to date, the largest and finest lunar specimen in existence. For additional details on NWA 5000 please click here.

Disclaimer: The inclusion of moon dust will be guaranteed with our unique certificate of authenticity, however, it will not change the visual aesthetics of the pen and it is unlikely to be distinguishable from the Campo del Cielo meteorite.

Certificate of Authenticity

Our meteorite specimens have been acquired from only the most reputable dealers, all who are longstanding members of the International Meteorite Collectors Association. Every order from the Meteorite Collection will be accompanied by a beautiful engraved stainless steel certificate of authenticity guaranteeing the integrity of your purchase.
